Our story
Background and Establishment
In a rapidly changing cybersecurity threat landscape and digital economy, Taiwan and Israel have both developed deep technological, industrial, and talent capabilities. Building on earlier cybersecurity exchange activities, the Association continues to create links for dialogue, knowledge sharing, and collaboration between the two sides.
The Israel Cybersecurity Summit was held in Taipei in 2018. The Association’s LinkedIn page records its establishment on January 16, 2019, while Taiwan’s Ministry of the Interior public registry lists August 15, 2019 as its approved establishment date under the Civil Associations Act, with registration certificate number 1080058109. The Second Israel Cybersecurity Summit Forum later that year further advanced government and industry exchange and became an important starting point for the Association’s cross-sector collaboration.
